Confused about chickens ?

Confused by all the different chicken labels see here for some info.

Put simply Free-Range and Organic are best (usually the main difference being Organic must be always fed organic grain, no welfare or taste difference, just price as organic grain is very expensive), the RSPCA freedom foods, then High Welfare Indoor Chickens,  pretty much everything else is a very distant fourth, “Red Tractor”, Farm Assured and other clever wording doesn’t mean a lot in the end to the animals living standards

“Live fast and die young”  does not make a cool or tasty chicken !

Game coming soon

Currently still sourcing wild venison and other gamey goodies for The Butchery cabinets.
